Post-Stroke Pilot Program: Coming in 2026
The Tango Therapy Project is piloting a novel adapted tango program for individuals who have experienced a stroke. We are developing a curriculum under the guidance of our board members, neurologists/dancers Dr. Rebecca Ichord and Dr. Alexandra Pfister, with the support of physical therapist/dancer Joanna Garvey (DPT).
An initial 6-week pilot series will launch in Summer 2026 (dates and location TBD). Learn more and get involved!
*A Powering the Arts Grant (funded by Team Pennsylvania, PECO, and PA Creative Industries) supports education, planning, and outreach for our post-stroke pilot program.
